This course is conducted in the classroom and on the range. Range Safety Officer (RSO) candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; and firearm stoppages and malfunctions.

If you plan on working at a gun range, volunteering at your local gun club, or want to learn how to pass on safe gun handling and shooting skills to others, this is the course for you!

There are no firearms or ammunition needed for this class and all materials will be provided for you during the course.
